Privacy Policy
This policy explains what TRISTAN AI, LLC (“TRISTAN,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit this website, and what we do with it. It is deliberately short, because this site collects very little.
This policy does not cover the TRISTAN application. Student work, class rosters, and teacher accounts inside the product are governed by a separate, more detailed policy: the TRISTAN Application Privacy Policy. If you are a school or district evaluating how we handle student data, that is the document you want.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form on our homepage, plus ordinary web server records.
- Waitlist form. Your email address. That is the only field we ask for.
- Server logs. Our host records standard request data, including IP address, browser user agent, and the pages requested. These are used to serve the site and diagnose problems.
What we do not collect
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no tag manager, and no third-party tracking of any kind. It sets no cookies whatsoever. We do not build visitor profiles, we do not track you across other websites, and we have never sold or rented personal information — nor will we.
Third parties
- Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions on our behalf.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used here. Loading a page requests font files from Google’s servers, which discloses your IP address to Google. We send Google nothing else about you.
How we use your email address
To tell you about TRISTAN — pilots, availability, and product news — and to reply if you write to us. That is the whole list. We do not use it for automated decision-making, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers named above.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist records until you ask us to remove them, or until they are no longer useful to us — whichever comes first.
Your choices
Email privacy@tristanai.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law; write to us and we will honor them.
Children
This website is intended for educators and school administrators, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site. Student information is handled only inside the TRISTAN application, under the application privacy policy.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
